Sunday, 10/7 Port Lincoln Caravan Park to Memory Cove, Lincoln National Park

An Aussie boy's favorite brekkie

Aussie Bob had told us how much young boys loved their favorite breakfast, so I decided to give it a try. Toast, spread with Vegemite, slices of cheese (Tasty of course) and a fried egg. Mmm, mmm, was it good!

We went into Port Lincoln to post emails and blog postings parked at the harbor. While Diana emailed I took a little walk.

Sign on the jetty, don't think we'll be swimming there
Even more venomous snakes, amorous macropods, and bones

We drove out to Lincoln NP to the Memory Cove Conservation area, a 35 km 4WD route into a wilderness area that had many interesting features.

The birds and the bees... Aussie style
A roo skull, wish I could bring it home
A little beauty after all that nastiness
Coastline in the Memory Cove Wilderness, see the LC up in the corner?
We set up our tent in the woods right next to a beach right out of Survivor. There was a single small yacht anchored a couple hundred meters off shore, and the two couples dining on the back of the boat were entertained by a small pod of dolphins just meters away, swimming, tail slapping, and in a display of either joy or mating domination, breaching completely from the water, just like Flipper.

For dinner we had Gummy Shark fillets and veggies with a fine dry white wine.
