Wednesday, December 13 Armidale to Rest Area North of Sydney

Kim fixed a nice breakfast of eggs, ham, tomato and toast.  I spent some time blogging, we got laundry together, repacked the LC to get the back seat down and ready to receive our fourth passenger, and before we knew it, lunch time had come upon us.
Kim then fixed us grilled ham and cheese sandwiches.  We're going to miss being catered to, that's for sure.  Then I took a short nap, and by the time we left it was a little after 3 pm.  It was tough saying goodbye, but Kim plans to come to the US in 2014 for her foreign exchange father's 90th birthday.  I hope Jake can come with her.
We drove until after dark, finding a rest area about an hour north of Sydney.  No tents allowed, so Diana and I pushed our seats as far back as possible, and Kristy slept in the back seat in the space remaining.  Not the best sleeping arrangement, but we made it through the night.
