On Sunday after a leisurely morning in camp we drove into Wellington and walked
around the weekly Harborside Market, sampling different treats like
Vietnamese beef and chicken sticks, pork sandwiches, mussel fritters,
and Hungarian chimney cakes. Then we visited the outstanding Te Papa
museum, the national museum of Kiwi culture, ecology, and history. I
also spent a couple hours blogging, using the free Wifi in the
museum.
If you've seen The Hobbit you'll recognize these fellows. |
We returned to
camp early, had leftover spaghetti, and went to bed. (Thank goodness
we occasionally have uneventful days such as this, it makes it easier
for me to catch up on my blogging.)
