Thursday, January 3 - Hanging around camp

Diana and I had one big objective for the day, get the Landcruiser ready for its big photo shoot.  We've got to sell the car before we fly off to New Zealand, and posting photos and description on a website called Gumtree is the best way to go about it.  Or at least we hope so.  But before doing that we had some cleaning up to do, with me working on the outside, Diana the interior. The kids took the day exploring and reading and hanging out while we worked on the car.  It took most of the day, but near sunset we drove the LC out to the beach and took some glamour shots.  I think the car looks pretty good.  I'd buy it.
Wouldn't you want to buy this car?  I've loved driving it.  If it weren't
so difficult to export it to New Zealand, we'd take it with us.
The kids got dinner together for us.  They've taken barbie cuisine to new heights with this wonderful meal.
That's a nice mess of veggies

Dan enjoying a nice Aussie beer

We adopted Victor for the evening, a nice Brazilian boy taking the
weekend off from washing high rise windows

Sitting around on the concrete drinking beer.  Yeah, we can get back on our
feet on our own ... no Dan, I don't need your help, just finish your beer...
